Low spreading shrub, dark green leaves with prolific white/violet flowers during summer.

Hebe 'Champagne' is a compact shrub with spear shaped grey green foliage. The cultivar is said to have come from a cross from Hebe bishopiana and a small leaved hebe growing nearby. It has been called Hebe bishopiana 'Champagne', but it does not resemble Hebe bishopiana.

In summer the shrub produces masses of lavender tinted white flowers stemming from spikes. This plant grows roughly 1.5m in height and has a similar spread.

Plant in well drained soil and in sun or shade. The Hebe 'Champagne' is cold hardy and in winter the colour of the foliage will intensify which can add an interesting contrast to any garden. The shrub also attracts bees and butterflies.
