Easily recognised by its very small leaves. Grows 70cm-1m high, produces masses of white flowers through winter.

Hebe diosmifolia is a variable species of an evergreen bushy shrub found in scrub and forest edges to the north of the North Island. This particular Hebe shrub prefers full sun but will grow in most conditions. Fast-growing upright shrub that is commonly reaches a height of 1m and a width of 0.5m. Like most of the other hebes it is hardy. One of the first hebes to flower. Flowers are white and form in clusters near the branch tips, appearing in late winter through to summer. Easy to distinguish from other hebes because of its small, dark emerald foliage that grows on one plane.

This hebe naturally maintains a tidy clipped look but can still be cut back after flowering. Can make an excellent low hedging plant.
