Sprawling shrub confined to the Surville Cliffs, Northland.
Coprosma neglecta is a divaricating, weeping coastal shrub with a cascading habit (up to 50 cm tall) from Kerr Point, Surville Cliffs and Murimotu Island at North Cape of New Zealand.
This low shrub has long trailing branches (up to 2 m long) with dense, glossy green leaves The orange-red fruit are 6–7 mm long.
This coprosma is best grown in dry semi-shaded areas, under the canopy of large trees is ideal.
