Hebe traversii is a native New Zealand plant that can be found on the lowland to subalpine banks, streamsides and scrub in Canterbury and Marlborough, South Island.This bushy hebe has pairs of narrow leaves and produced white tubular flowers in spring. Often reaching a height of 2m the shrub is hardy and will grow in most situations once established.
It will grow in sun or semi-shade, best in well drained soil, will also grow in dry sites. Hardy to cold. A very tidy plant with a circular shape that can be maintained easily.
